According to India Today's Mood of the Nation survey, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan is the country's No. 1 Hero. Amitabh has beaten several contemporary actors to the top spot with 30.6 percent of the vote. Akshay Kumar came in second with 12% of the vote, while Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan came in third and fourth with 7% and 5.2 percent of the vote, respectively. Rajinikanth comes in fifth place with 3.9 percent of the vote.
Amitabh Bachchan is one of the busiest actors, and despite the pandemic, he was constantly on the move in the last year. He also hosted the 13th season of the popular television quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati while filming the film. He was most recently seen in Emraan Hashmi's film Chehre. The movie was released digitally. Brahmastra, Runway 34, Goodbye, Uunchai, Jhund, The Intern Remake, and Nag Ashwin's untitled film are among the films he is currently working on.
