A man was recently arrested in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, for reportedly threatening to blow up Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan's Mumbai home, Mannat. Jitesh Thakur is accused of threatening to blow up various locations in Mumbai, including Mannat in Bandra, by calling the Maharashtra police control centre on January 6.

According to Mumbai police, an unknown caller claimed to use nuclear weapons to blow up various areas in Mumbai, including the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Kurla train station, and a gurdwara in neighbouring Navi Mumbai. Sections 182, 505, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) have been brought against him.

According to Lehren, CSP Alok Sharma said in a statement,"We received a call from the Maharashtra police saying that a call claiming to carry terrorist attacks was made from Jabalpur. They sought our help in arresting the man. We have picked him up and have booked him under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code."

Sharma also mentioned, "He does not have any motive. He often gets drunk and then makes these calls. We found out that his married life has not been going smooth because of which he has been disturbed lately,"

According to Jabalpur's Additional Superintendent of Police Gopal Khandel, Maharashtra police gave a phone number via which the offender was arrested.
