Alia Bhatt believes that her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi is her best to date.
According to a source in the office of Gangubai Kathiawadi director Sanjay Leela Bhansali,"Alia is very proud of her performance. She has pushed herself harder on this one than on any other project to date."
"There are two sequences in the film where she had to pull out all stops," the source continues, "and Alia performed them without the help of glycerine. The tears flowed nonstop even after the shots were over."
Is Alia's Gangubai Kathiawadi going to win her first National Award? Those who have seen her perform in the film appear to believe so.
